Total ICAP Electronic Broking Volumes on BrokerTec and EBS Platforms Increase 2% in October

London, 4 November, 2011 – ICAP, the world’s leading interdealer broker, announced today that average daily electronic broking volumes on the BrokerTec and EBS platforms in the month of October reached US$807.4bn, an increase of 2% year-on-year.

Average daily spot FX volumes on the EBS platform in October were $170.0bn, an increase of 6% over the previous year.

Average daily volumes in fixed-income products on the BrokerTec platform in October were $637.4bn, an increase of 1% over the previous year. Overall repo volumes reached $508.7bn in October, an increase of 3% year-on-year. Average daily US Treasury volumes on BrokerTec decreased 8% year-on-year in October.

ICAP reports all of its electronic broking volumes on a single count basis.
