Ben Tobin joins EBS as Director of Liquidity Management

08 October 2012

London, 8 October, 2012 – EBS, ICAP's market-leading electronic FX platform, today announces that it has appointed Ben Tobin to Director of Liquidity Management, reporting to Gil Mandelzis, EBS’s Chief Executive Officer.

Based in London, Tobin will be working closely with EBS's customers, as well as the product, sales and marketing teams to develop new initiatives to further increase liquidity on EBS.

Tobin joins EBS from Traiana, ICAP's post-trade service business, where he worked from 2003, most recently as the Sales Director responsible for the company's business growth in banks and brokers globally. Prior to Traiana he held sales roles at SunGard, Blue Curve and Telerate.

Ben Tobin said: "I am delighted to be joining EBS at such an exciting time for the company and the industry. I look forward to working with EBS's customers and partners to enhance the value and utilisation of our global, market-leading platform."

Gil Mandelzis said: "I am thrilled that Ben is joining EBS. He brings with him proven leadership and drive, and will play a key role in further enhancing our partnership with market participants to improve EBS's overall liquidity."
