FX Week Selects ICAP’s EBS platform for Best Electronic Broker 2011
18 July 2011
London, 18 July 2011 – FX Week, the industry newsletter for foreign exchange and money market professionals recognised ICAP’s EBS platform as “Best Electronic Broker 2011” at its annual FX Week e-FX Awards in New York on Thursday evening.
FX Week editor, Joel Clark said:
"The winner has consistently proven itself a central source of pricing and liquidity in FX and has undertaken a number of key innovations over the past year to satisfy both sides of its client base. The launch of a new block trading service for manual traders in December and the courageous step to move to decimalised pricing on majors in March made it the electronic broker of choice in 2011. The winner is ICAP EBS."
David Rutter, CEO, ICAP Electronic Broking said:
“We are delighted to have won this award from FX week which highlights ICAP’s continued commitment to delivering market leading solutions to customers using our EBS platform. In the past year, we have successfully launched a number of significant enhancements to the EBS platform including decimal pricing as well as the block trading service for manual customers. We have also introduced new currency pairs like CNH and seen record activity in a number of currencies trading on EBS, including the Russian ruble.”
