ICAP Energy awarded Best Brokerage for EU Emissions Trading Scheme by Carbon Trading magazine

London, 23 November 2012 -- ICAP Energy, the energy business of ICAP plc, has been awarded “Best Brokerage” in the EU Emissions Trading Scheme category in the inaugural Carbon Trading magazine awards. In the Clean Development Mechanism category, ICAP Energy was awarded second place.
More than 400 market participants and readers of Carbon Trading magazine voted in the survey during a three-week period in October and November 2012. Voters were asked to make a judgement based on efficiency and quality of service, reliability in the market and ability to adapt to changing market conditions.
