New York, 31 May 2013 – ICAP plc (IAP.L), a leading markets operator and provider of post trade risk mitigation and information services, announces today that Gil Mandelzis, Andy Coyne, and Fulinda Malone-Rouse have all been inducted into the Profit & Loss Hall of Fame. EBS also received the “Best FX Matching Platform” and “Best Platform for Banks” Awards and Traiana got the “Digital Markets Innovator” Award. The honorees were inducted at the Profit & Loss Readers’ Choice Awards event last night in New York City.
Gil Mandelzis is CEO of EBS and Executive Chairman of Traiana. He has been responsible for managing EBS since March 2012, and has instituted many changes including new Dealing Rules, a move away from decimalization, the launch of EBS Direct, its relationship-based platform, as well as numerous other market leading initiatives. Gil co-founded Traiana in 2000 and led it from a small start-up to a recognised global leader in the space. Traiana's post trade solutions and the Harmony Network have become the market standard for post trade processing of foreign exchange, exchange traded derivatives, synthetic and cash equity transactions. Gil is a member of ICAP's Global Executive Management Group and a member of the New York Federal Reserve's Foreign Exchange Committee, the Bank of England Foreign Exchange Joint Standing Committee, and the Bank of Canada FX Committee. He holds an MBA from INSEAD Graduate Business School in Fontainebleau, France.
Andy Coyne joined Traiana as Chief Executive Officer in July 2012. As CEO of Traiana, Andy has implemented a renewed focus on client experience, initiated the set up of the Asian hub, led the design of a new UI platform and has overseen a realignment of the business along asset class lines. As a pioneer of the FX prime brokerage business, Andy continues to drive change in the market with an increased focus on risk and control. He was previously at Citi for six years as Managing Director of FX Prime Brokerage and eCommerce Product, and prior to that, he ran FX Prime at Deutsche Bank for six years. During his time in the FXPB market, Andy and a core group of prime brokers worked closely with Traiana after its formation to develop a number of key products including, TRM, Harmony, CreditLink and NetLink that have significantly changed the foreign exchange market structure. He has held board positions at FXAll and CLS Aggregation Service, and he earned an MBA from the Cass Business School.
Fulinda Malone-Rouse, EBS Head of Global Accounts Americas, has more than 25 years’ experience in the FX markets. She joined EBS in 1998 as an Account Manager, and in 2000, was appointed Regional Sales Manager for North America. In 2005, she transitioned into Business Development Manager and now as Head of Global Accounts Americas manages a sales team committed to providing EBS customers with the highest level of service. Since 2006, Fulinda has also served on the New York Federal Reserve’s Foreign Exchange Committee’s Chief Dealers Working Group, where she has been active in the group's revisions to the Guidelines for Foreign Exchange Trading Activities and its work on trends in electronic trading. Prior to joining EBS, Fulinda was in a number of FX trading positions, including Chief Dealer for the North American FX trading center in the Treasury division of Barclays Bank PLC.
